Harvard Square:
From Harvard, as you travel North (towards Porter Square
on Mass. Ave.) bear right after you pass the main entrance to
Harvard University. Make your 1st left onto Quincy Street, and
the next right onto Kirkland Street. Kirkland Street becomes
Washington Street as you enter Somerville at the Wine and Cheese
Cash (on your left). Continue straight into Union Square (church
on your right as you enter the square). The Independent will be
on your left, to enter Parking Lot, turn left at light (accross
from Dunkin' Donuts) and another immediate left as the road bears
right. PRECINCT is located in the basement of the old police
station two doors down from The Independent which is the last
building down on your right at the end of the parking lot. The
parking lot for PRECINCT is located behind The Independent.
Davis Square:
From Elm Street in Davis Square travel towards Boston,
passing the Star Market (in Porter Square) on your right.
Continue until Elm street ends at the intersection of Somerville
Ave (A Car wash will be directly in front of you.) Turn left
onto Somerville Avenue. (continued below, see Porter Square).
From Porter Square:
Heading towards Boston, take Somerville Avenue (off Mass. Ave in
Porter) into Union Square. Union Square is the first major
intersection/set of light after Market Basket (on your right).
Turn left at Union Square onto Washington Street (also
Somerville Ave.). PRECINCT is located in the basement of the old
police station two doors down from The Independent which is the
last building down on your right at the end of the parking lot.
The parking lot for PRECINCT is located behind The Independent.
From the NORTH:
Take Route 93 South to Exit 30. Turn
left at the end of the ramp onto Mystic Avenue. After
approximately 3/4mile make a right onto the McGrath O'Brien
Highway (a park will be on your right). Go straight through
three lights and a railroad bridge, passing Sunoco Gas Station
on your right. Immediately bear right down the off ramp, and
turn right at the light. After you pass the "Speedy Muffler" on
your right, the road bears left, go *straight* into the Parking
lot. PRECINCT is located in
the basement of the old police station two doors down from The
Independent which is the last building down on your right at the
end of the parking lot. The parking lot for PRECINCT is located
behind The Independent.
From the SOUTH:
Take Route 93 North through Boston.
Take the first right hand exit for Sullivan Square. Turn left at
the end of the ramp onto Washington Street. Continue past the
Holiday Inn (Left) and under two bridges. After you pass the
"Speedy Muffler" on your right, the road bears left, go straight
into the Parking lot. PRECINCT is located in the basement of the old police station
two doors down from The Independent which is the last building
down on your right at the end of the parking lot. The parking
lot for PRECINCT is located behind The Independent.
From the WEST:
Take the Mass Pike/I-90 Exit 18 marked
"Allston/Cambridge". After the toll booth, bear right following
the signs to Cambridge/Somerville. Go over the Charles River
Bridge and continue straight for 2 miles on River Street through
Central Square (where the road becomes Prospect Street). The
road will become one-way as it crosses a bridge. Just ahead go
*straight* through the lights at the Dunkin Donuts (on your
left), and make an immediate left into the parking lot as the
road bears right. PRECINCT is located in the basement of the old
police station two doors down from The Independent which is the
last building down on your right at the end of the parking lot.

From Back Bay via Harvard Bridge :
(through Central Square)
Take Mass. Ave. across Harvard Bridge
towards Central Square (Cambridge). In Central Square turn right
at the Starbucks (on your right) onto Prospect Street. After
approximately five (5) lights, the road will become one-way as
it crosses a bridge. Go *straight* through the lights at the
Dunkin Donuts (on your left), and make an immediate left into
the parking lot as the road bears right. PRECINCT is located in the basement of the old
police station two doors down from The Independent which is the
last building down on your right at the end of the parking lot.

From Government Center via the
Longfellow Bridge:
(through Kendall Square)
Take Cambridge Street across the
Longfellow Bridge towards Kendall Square (Cambridge). Cambridge
Street becomes Broadway in Cambridge. Bear right onto Hampshire
Street after crossing the railroad tracks just before Kendall
Square. Make a right onto Prospect Street at gas station. After
the second light the road will become one-way as it crosses a
bridge. Continue *straight* through the lights at the Dunkin
Donuts (on your left), and make an immediate left into the
parking lot as the road bears right. PRECINCT is located in the basement of the old police station two
doors down from The Independent which is the last building down
on your right at the end of the parking lot. The parking lot for
PRECINCT is located behind The Independent.
